Richard Kovarsky, P.E., CFEI

Mr. Kovarsky is the principal and founder of Pyro-Technical Investigations. He has a BS in Electrical Engineering from Rutgers University (summa cum laude) and a MS in Computer Science from Johns Hopkins University. Mr. Kovarsky has over 30 years of engineering experience, with the last 18 years devoted exclusively to forensic investigations. Mr. Kovarsky's background includes the design and development of sophisticated hardware and software systems for the US Military. He has been the principal investigator on over 2000 cases and has testified in State and Federal courts throughout the United States.

Alexander Furo, P.Eng, CFEI

Mr. Furo has been with Pyro-Technical Investigations since 1998. He has a BS in Engineering Science from the Electrical University of Western Ontario. Mr. Furo has over 35 years of engineering experience, with over 20 years of forensic experience. Mr. Furo's background includes the design, manufacture and maintenance of electrical and electromechanical systems.
